Transfer Rumour Updates: Get The Latest On Pogba, Draxler and Lozano

The conclusion of the European Championships on Sunday, has ensured that the summer transfer window can now get into full swing. United have already been active – with the signings of Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan secured.

However, the biggest deal could be yet to come – with Paul Pogba seemingly lined up as a mega signing for the Red Devils. Although, the Frenchman who suffered heart ache with France on Sunday, is far from completing a second coming to Old Trafford. His agent Mino Raiola, handed fans a reminder today of that fact.

“He is in no rush to leave, and Juventus do not want him to go. They want him to renew his contract.

“Paul is not desperate to move. We are very happy at Juventus and they are a club that want to keep their star players.”

Anyone that knows the world of transfer dealings, will understand that this could well be part of ‘the game’. Raiola is perhaps playing it cool, with United very keen in their pursuit of his client.

Meanwhile, United have also been linked with Mexican youngster, Hirving Lozano. The 20-year old currently plays for Pachuca and the club’s Vice President, Andres Fassi, was quoted as saying that the two clubs were in ongoing negotiations.

“It’s nice to hear people talk about a potential move to Manchester United, but it would have been better if it was actually a fact,” Lozano told Mexican website record.com.

“I don’t know anything about United’s interest. If the club tell me anything, then we will see, but I don’t know anything about it at this stage.

“I am at Pachuca now and we will see what happens in the future.”

If those two signings appear to be fairly realistic, then Julian Draxler is more of a long shot. The German wonder kid impressed many at the Euros and the world’s best clubs (including United, it seems) have been lurching like vultures.

Draxler joined Wolfsburg from Schalke last summer, and their sporting director Klaus Allofs, admitted that the player had ambitions to play for a bigger club but stated that Wolfsburg had no intention of selling him any time soon.

“It is clear that Wolfsburg is not the end of his dream – neither was Schalke,” Allofs informed Sport Bild. “There are clubs like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona or one or other clubs from England.

“But Julian knows exactly how the contractual situation is. He has a long-term contract with us. We plan to stick with it!”
