Tinubu To Swear In New Ministers Monday
1 min readPresident Bola Tinubu will officially swear in seven new ministers on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja.
This announcement was made by Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, via his X handle.
Onanuga stated, “President Bola Tinubu will swear in the new seven ministers tomorrow Monday.” The newly appointed ministers include Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda as the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Muhammadu Dingyadi as the Minister of Labour and Employment, and Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

The remaining appointees are Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, who will oversee the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Idi Maiha as Minister of Livestock Development, Yusuf Ata as Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, and Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad as Minister of State for Education.
This cabinet reshuffle, which took place on October 23, 2024, involved the reassignment of 10 ministers to new portfolios, the discharge of five others, and the nomination of these seven new ministers. All nominees received confirmation from the Senate following their screening on October 31, 2024.
