They Keep Us Safe’: Kwara Gov Rallies Support for Military After Hospital Visit

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has called on Nigerians to support the military following an attack on soldiers by suspected bandits.

The governor made the appeal after visiting injured personnel receiving treatment at a hospital, where he commended their bravery and sacrifice in protecting the nation.

AbdulRazaq described the armed forces as critical to national security, stressing that citizens must cooperate with security agencies to enhance their effectiveness.

He warned against the leakage of sensitive information, noting that exposing troop movements and operations could jeopardize ongoing efforts to combat insecurity.

The governor also urged residents to remain vigilant and provide useful intelligence to security agencies, emphasizing that public cooperation is key in the fight against crime.

He assured the injured soldiers of the government’s support and wished them a speedy recovery.

The visit comes amid ongoing security challenges in parts of the country, with authorities intensifying efforts to curb banditry and restore peace.

Observers say the governor’s call highlights the importance of civilian support in strengthening military operations and ensuring national stability.
