Real Madrid and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo, has been adjudged the best-paid footballer in the world for the 2016/2017 season.
According to France Football, Ronaldo earned $95.3million in that period.
The media outlet said it based its figures on salary, bonuses and advertising income.
His eternal rival Lionel Messi, is in second place with $76.5million, while his Barcelona team-mate Neymar is third with 55.5 million euros.
Ronaldo’s Real Madrid team-mate, Gareth Bale is in fourth spot on $41m and Argentina’s Ezequiel Lavezzi who plays for Hebei Fortune in the Chinese Super League is placed fifth on $28.5m.
Among the managers, Manchester United coach, Jose Mourinho, is number one.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss, made 28 million euros within that time frame.
