Police Declare British National Andrew Wynne Wanted Over Alleged Plot To Overthrow President Tinubu
1 min readThe Nigeria Police Force has declared Andrew Wynne, a British national, wanted for allegedly conspiring to overthrow the government led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The force spokesperson, ASP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, revealed this information at the Force Headquarters in Abuja on Monday.
According to Adejobi, Wynne had rented a location at Labour House, Abuja, for an establishment called ‘Iva Valley Bookshop’ and had set up ‘STARS of Nations Schools’ as a facade for his subversive operations. The police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the activities of Wynne and other subversive elements plotting to undermine the democratically elected government in Nigeria through unconstitutional regime change and orchestrating violence across the country.

Nine suspects have been apprehended, who received substantial financial backing from foreign sources to destabilize the country. Preliminary findings suggest they orchestrated and funded violent protests, disseminated false information, and engaged in other unlawful activities to create anarchy and justify their illegal plot to overthrow the democratically elected government.
The recent events follow the arrest of several Polish individuals by the Department of State Services (DSS) during a protest in Kano. The police have also summoned Comrade Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), regarding a British national residing at Labour House in Abuja.
The investigation is ongoing, and the police have urged anyone with information on Wynne’s whereabouts to come forward.
