Police Crack Down on Traffic Offenders in Delta, Prosecute 68
Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force in Delta State have prosecuted 68 traffic offenders as part of a major crackdown on road violations across the state.
The offenders were charged for various infractions, including driving against traffic, using covered or concealed number plates, and other road safety violations.
Police authorities said the operation was aimed at restoring order on the roads and reducing accidents caused by reckless driving.
According to the command, those found guilty were fined in accordance with traffic laws, while warnings were issued to others to comply with regulations.
The police also urged motorists to adhere strictly to traffic rules, stressing that enforcement will continue to ensure safer roads for all residents in Nigeria.
