Pogba, Sanchez’s Bonuses Teared Solskjaer’s Squad Apart
1 min readManchester United players have clashed over the club’s bonus system which heavily favours Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba.
Sanchez receives £75,000 per goal, plus £25,000 for each assist, while Pogba gets £50,000 per goal and £20,000 for every assist.
And it’s claimed that the incentive scheme has left manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer dealing with ‘rifts and jealousy’ among the players.
A source at United told The UK Sun: “The real problem is the incentive plan.
“It has caused a lot of animosity and is as responsible for the lack of the recent failure of team spirit as anything else.”
United, which have failed to secure a place in next season’s Champions League, will end their campaign with a match against Cardiff City at Old Trafford on Sunday.
