
On Friday, the Lagos State Task Force destroyed another batch of 2,228 impounded commercial motorcycles known as Okadas.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu outlawed motorcycle operations in six local government areas of the state, and the motorcycles were impounded.

CSP Shola Jejeloye, the task force’s chairman, said in a statement released on Thursday that the agency will step up its efforts to ensure that all impounded motorcycles are crushed once the proper procedures are followed.
