Oshiomhole To PDP Defectors: Stay Loyal, Days Of Playing Both Sides Are Over

1 min read

Adams Oshiomhole, former governor of Edo State, has cautioned individuals planning to leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain loyal to the PDP.

“You can’t be with Asue Ighodalo and expect to eat, celebrate here. The days are gone when you play two sides,” Oshiomhole said. “Go with your artificial intelligence while we stay with native and organic intelligence so we can’t be fooled again. You’ve lost.”

Oshiomhole, who is the lawmaker representing the Edo North senatorial district, made this statement after the governorship election in Edo State.

He urged those considering a switch to APC to remain with PDP and its governorship candidate, Asue Ighodalo.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Monday Okpebholo of the APC the winner of the governorship election, with 291,667 votes, while Asue Ighodalo of the PDP scored 247,274 votes.
