Oodua People’s Congress leader, Chief Gani Adams has several secrets he rarely tells anyone unless irresistible circumstances push him to do so. Do you know that the white-attire wearing activist and traditionalist was once a member of the White garment church?

He told ‘Societywatchng.com exclusively over the weekend that at the age of 14, his mother would always take him to Holy Michael Church of the Lord (Aladura), Cherubim & Seraphim, Lagos for service. “I’m a product of white garment church,” he confessed. “That is why for the past few years I’ve been inviting Prophet Samuel Olawale Kogberegbeto pray at my birthday party because I respect him so much and hadn’t forget my root.”

Though he is perceived as a spiritualist, Gani revealed that he operates in the three major religions in Nigeria. “As you see me, I’ve my own shepherd. At least, I consult my shepherd three times a day. I also have my Alfa (Islamic clerics) that pray for me.”

In addition, the sect leader revealed that he has a temple in his Lagos mansion where he worships for two hours every Sunday. “I’ve a temple in my house where I worship. Every Sunday, I burn candles and pray for two hours at this temple. It’s only on occasion when I’m not in the country that I don’t do this,” he ended.
