One-Man-Down Arsenal Hold Chelsea
1 min readThe Gunners did the unexpected during their domestic league clash with Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.
Despite playing the majority of the match with a man down, the Gunners still scored twice to force the match into a draw.
The match started with Arsenal in the ascendancy before David Luiz was given the marching order in the 26th minute.
Chelsea then started dominating proceedings before going on to open the scoring in the first half but the Gunners pulled level.
However, the dramatic moment of the match was when Chelsea retook the lead in the 87th minute and thought they had gotten the victory before the Gunners popped up at the death again to ensure a share of the spoil.
As a result of the stalemate, Chelsea has now lost more Premier League points from winning positions against Arsenal than they have vs any other side in the competition (33).
