The FA terminated his appointment on mutual agreement following corruption claims. Allardyce was filmed telling two undercover reporters who disguised as Agents from the far east how to bend the FA rules on players’ transfer. Following his sack, the ex-England coach says “entrapment has won on this occasion,” claiming he was entrapped while trying to help a friend who he has known for 30 years.
