Nobody Is Above The Party – PDP Tells Wike
1 min readThe Peoples Democratic Party has confronted former Rivers State Governor and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, asserting that no one is above the party.
This comes after Wike warned PDP governors to avoid interfering in the party’s matters in Rivers State and issued a threat to “put fire in their states” during the PDP state congress at the party’s secretariat in Port Harcourt on Saturday.

Responding to Wike’s comments, PDP National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba stated, “What I can tell you is that nobody is above this party. It is the People’s Democratic Party. We have set up bodies (reconciliation and disciplinary committees) and given them the mandate to do the job. We will wait for their report.”
This development follows Wike’s threat to face disciplinary action over anti-party activities and his support for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
