Nigerians Should Be Thankful That Bombing Has Reduced – Presidency
1 min readFemi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, says Nigerians need to be thankful that the frequency of suicide bomb attacks by the dreaded Boko Haram group has reduced.
Speaking during a live interview on Channels Television program ‘Politics Today’ on Sunday, Adesina added that the current administration has been able to salvage the situation from what it used to be before it got into power in 2015.
“It is not as bad as you make it seem …because we know what the situation was as of 2015 and we know what it is today despite the reversals in security, it is still not as bad as it used to be in this country.
“Yes, there was a bomb or two today (Sunday). There was a time that there were five, six, 10 bombings in a day in this country.”
