Nigeria Football Federation May Offer Eric Chelle $100k Monthly Salary

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is reportedly considering offering the head coach of the Nigeria National Football Team, Eric Chelle, a monthly salary of $100,000 as contract negotiations continue.

Sources familiar with the talks said discussions are ongoing between the federation and the Franco-Malian tactician regarding the terms of his contract. The proposed salary is believed to be part of efforts by the NFF to secure Chelle’s services and strengthen the technical leadership of the Super Eagles.

Chelle, who has built a reputation for his tactical approach and experience in African football, is expected to play a key role in rebuilding the national team and improving its competitiveness in upcoming international competitions.

Officials within the federation have reportedly expressed confidence that the negotiations will be concluded soon, paving the way for a new phase in the management of the Super Eagles.

If finalised, the deal would place Chelle among the better-paid national team coaches on the African continent, reflecting Nigeria’s ambition to strengthen its football programme.

The NFF has yet to make an official announcement regarding the final terms of the contract as discussions continue behind closed doors. ⚽🇳🇬
