Niger govt commits N5bn to revive aviation college campus in Minna

The Niger State Government has pledged N5 billion to revive the Nigerian College of Aviation’s mini campus at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna, to ease the financial burden of sending students abroad for aviation-related courses.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago made the pledge during a courtesy visit by the college’s management in Minna.
He explained that the fund would be used to construct classrooms and hostels, enhancing the infrastructure of the mini campus.
According to him, “The state government aims to make the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport a hub for aviation and agriculture, promoting economic growth and development.”
Earlier, the Rector of the Nigerian College of Aviation, Zaria, Dr Danjuma Adamu Ismail, commended the governor for remodelling the airport to world-class standards.
