Netflix Acquires Nollywood Producer, Kunle Afolayan’s New Movie, ‘Mokalik’

Kunle Afolayan just announced the news that the movie has been acquired by Netflix.
Kunle Afolayan will be the second Nigerian whose work has been acquired by Netflix with actress Genevieve Nnaji being the first, with her movie, Lionheart.
Kunle Afolayan’s movie is, however, yet to be released in cinemas.
Granting an interview on the new deal with Netflix, Kunle said;
“I wish to inform you that Netflix has acquired “Mokalik” and some other of my films,” he said.
Mokalik is about an 11-year-old boy who is an apprentice at a mechanic workshop.
