NDLEA Seizes Cocaine Hidden in Dry Fish, Arrests Grandpa with Meth
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have uncovered cocaine concealed in dry fish heads and arrested an elderly man found in possession of methamphetamine during a series of anti-drug operations.
According to the agency, the illicit drugs were discovered during routine checks, where traffickers attempted to disguise cocaine shipments by hiding them inside processed dry fish to evade detection.
In a separate operation, NDLEA officers arrested an elderly suspect with quantities of methamphetamine, highlighting the growing involvement of individuals across different age groups in drug trafficking activities.
The agency also reported major seizures of cannabis and skunk in related raids, as part of its ongoing nationwide crackdown on drug networks.
NDLEA reiterated its commitment to intensifying operations to dismantle drug trafficking syndicates and warned traffickers to desist or face the full weight of the law in Nigeria.
