Navy Chief Hails Troops, Reaffirms Commitment to Security
The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, has commended officers and men of Operation HADIN KAI for their dedication and gallantry in the fight against insurgency and other security threats in the country.
The Naval Chief gave the commendation during an operational visit to troops deployed in the North-East, where he praised their resilience and professionalism in safeguarding Nigeria’s territorial integrity.
Vice Admiral Ogalla reaffirmed the Nigerian Navy’s unwavering commitment to securing the nation’s waterways and supporting joint military operations aimed at restoring peace and stability across troubled regions.
He noted that the Navy remains a critical component of the Armed Forces’ efforts to combat terrorism, piracy, oil theft and other forms of criminality threatening national security.
The Nigerian Navy will continue to provide the needed support to ensure the success of ongoing operations. Your sacrifices and dedication to duty are deeply appreciated,” the CNS said.
He also urged the troops to remain disciplined, vigilant and committed to the rules of engagement while carrying out their constitutional responsibilities.
The naval chief further assured them of improved welfare, logistics and operational support to enhance efficiency and morale on the фронt line.
Operation HADIN KAI is the military’s flagship counter-insurgency operation in the North-East, involving coordinated efforts by the Army, Navy and Air Force to combat terrorism and restore lasting peace in the region.
