NAPTIP Probes Lagos Daycare Abuse Allegations Linked to Simi
The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has commenced an investigation into alleged abuse at a daycare centre in Lagos following renewed public attention sparked by social media posts linked to Nigerian singer Simi.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the agency confirmed it had launched a full-scale probe after allegations of child mistreatment resurfaced online, prompting widespread concern among parents and child-rights advocates.
