‘Mummy, Leave Me Alone -’ Shehu Sani, El-Rufai’s Wife Clash On X
1 min readBoth the former senator representing Kaduna Central in the 8th Assembly, Shehu Sani and wife of the former governor of the state, Hadiza El-Rufai, the former First Lady of Kaduna have clashed on X, former Twitter over grammar.
Sani had posted a comment on his handle about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Saturday.
In his post, Sani wrote: “New law of economics; When the President travels out, Taxes and Prices goes up.”

This drew the attention of El-Rufai’s wife and she decided to correct the senator’s grammar.
Reacting to the post, she wrote, “Go Up,” suggesting that the phrase should be prices go up and not goes up.
Responding to her post,, Shehu Sani, wrote, “I unfollowed you and you unfollowed me. And you still de hang around me. Mummy,leave me alone abeg.”
Recall that there is no love lost between the former governor and the senator as well as the governor’s son as they often clash on social media.
