Movie Star, Nkiru Sylvanus Returns With A Thriller

Come July 13, 2014, pretty actress and former Special Assistant on Lagos Affairs to the Imo State Government, Nkiru Sylvanus will be premiering her blockbuster movie entitled ‘The Voice” at the prestigious Oriental Hotel, Lekki Lagos. The actress is making her comeback to her first love-acting after a long hiatus.
However, this feat did not come without a price. While shooting the movie in Oweri, the Imo state capital in 2012, the talented thespian was kidnapped alongside Keneth Okolie. But with the intervention of the Imo State government, they were released. But unknown to people, the kidnapping experience coincidentally tallies with the movie Nkiru was shooting. In the movie, Kenneth kidnapped Nkiru and held her hostage. Then in real life, both of them were kidnapped for days. Up till today no one has been able to understand that mysterious incident.
“We continued with the movie as I and Kenneth learnt something from our captors, which was helpful to us in our role interpretation,” she later related,
