Middle East War ‘Far Worse’ Than 2003 Iraq Conflict — Spanish PM

The Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, has warned that the current conflict in the Middle East could become far more dangerous than the 2003 Iraq War.

Sánchez said the escalating tensions across the region present a serious global risk and could lead to wider instability if not carefully managed by the international community.

He also stated that Spain would not allow the United States to use its military bases for operations related to the conflict, emphasizing the country’s commitment to diplomacy and de-escalation.

According to the Spanish leader, dialogue and international cooperation remain the best path to preventing the crisis from turning into a broader regional war.

Sánchez called on global leaders to intensify diplomatic efforts to restore peace and stability across the Middle East.
