Mbappe Breaks Usain Bolt’s World’s Fastest Man Record

1 min read

Kylian Mbappe set a new world record in the match against his former club, Monaco, by reaching a speed of 38kph which largely trumps Usain Bolt’s 100m world record.

The young world cup winner scored a hat-trick against his former club but it was his first goal that took breath out the nostrils of the fans in the stadium. Mbappe had passed the ball to teammate, Diaby, inside his own half and raced forward at incredible speed, running past over four defenders to retrieve a low cross from Diaby and power in a shot into the top of the net.

Tv cameras recorded a high speed of 38kph as he dashed towards the goal beating Usain Bolt’s world record of 37.58mph. This record goes a long way to prove why the youngster is one of the most sought after footballers in the world.
