Manchester city crashes Huddersfield town in F.A cup saga
1 min readPep Guardiola has striker Sergio Aguero to thank for leading his team to victory in an FA Cup Fifth Round replay against Huddersfield Town.
City won 5 – 1 but found themselves one goal down Harry Burn scored withing seven minutes as the Championship side’s high pressing worked a trick.
Guardiola side would be unlucky as two hand ball in succession in the box by Stankovic went unpunished when a penalty would have sufficed.
City would however equalize through Leroy Sane who tapped in Sterling’s cross from the right.
The Premier League side eventually got their lead. Stankovic shown a yellow card for a push on Otamendi in the box. Aguero duly sent the goalie the wrong way.
From them on the goals kept flying in; Zabaleta also tapping into the net from a cross by Aguero who has seen his initial effort blocked by the goalkeeper.
