Make Me Highest Paid Player – Benzema Begs Zidane
1 min readReal Madrid striker, Karim Benzema, has urged the club’s manager, Zinedine Zidane, to make him the best highest paid player at Santiago Bernabeu.
According to Fox Sports, Benzema wants to earn 17 million euros per season thus becoming the highest paid player among Zidane’s men.
The report claimed that the 31-year-old is behind Gareth Bale, who is currently the best highest paid Real player, Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.
The report also claimed that Real president, Florentino Perez, is unwilling to pay 17 million euros to Benzema, but Zidane believes that the striker deserves it.
Benzema scored 30 goals, assisted 11 in over 53 appearances for Real Madrid this season.
The France international’s current contract at Real Madrid will expire in June 2021.
