Lagos Monarch Hails Appointment of New LASU Chancellor

Lagos — A traditional ruler in Lagos State has commended the appointment of Oba Olufolarin Ogunsanwo as the sixth Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), describing it as a reflection of distinguished leadership and service.

 

The Ashipa of Ilara Kingdom, in a statement made available to journalists, praised the selection of the monarch, noting that the development recognizes years of exemplary contributions to community development, governance, and nation-building. He characterized the appointment as well-deserved and a source of pride to the people of Ilara and Lagos State at large.
