Kebbi Attack: Gunmen Kill 10 Security Officers

At least 10 security personnel have been killed in a deadly ambush by gunmen in Kebbi State, authorities have confirmed.

Governor Nasir Idris described the attack as “barbaric and unacceptable,” condemning the assault on security operatives working to protect lives and property in the state.

According to reports, the officers were ambushed by heavily armed attackers during an operation, leading to a fierce confrontation that resulted in multiple casualties.

The governor expressed condolences to the families of the fallen officers and assured residents that the government would work closely with security agencies to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Security forces have since intensified operations in the area as efforts continue to track down those responsible for the attack in Nigeria.
