Jim Nwobodo Denies Wife’s Role in Demolition of Pastor’s Property
Former Jim Nwobodo has denied allegations that his wife was involved in the demolition of a pastor’s property in Enugu, describing the claim as false and misleading.
Nwobodo dismissed reports linking his wife to the incident, stating that the matter is part of an ongoing property dispute in the state. He maintained that neither he nor his wife played any role in the demolition of the property.
According to the former governor, attempts to associate his family with the demolition are aimed at creating unnecessary controversy around a legal dispute that is still being addressed.
The development followed reports alleging that a pastor’s building was demolished in connection with the dispute, with some claims suggesting the involvement of Nwobodo’s wife.
However, the former governor insisted that the allegations are unfounded and urged the public to disregard what he described as misinformation.
He added that the property matter is already undergoing due process and expressed confidence that the issue would be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
The incident has drawn attention in Enugu State, where authorities and stakeholders continue to monitor developments surrounding the dispute.
