Jigawa Driver Abandons Explosives And Rifles-Laden Car
1 min readThe Nigerian Police Force’s Kano Command has detained a Mercedes Benz automobile loaded with IEDs, two Ak-47 rifles, and four AK-47 magazines.
The automobile transporting the explosives was intercepted at Bubbugaje Quarters, Kumbotso Local Government Area of the state, according to State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Haruna Kiyawa, in a press statement on Saturday.
According to Kiyawa, the now-fleeing driver of the ash-colored automobile, which was coming from Jigawa State, abandoned his car and fled to his heels when he saw security agents.

Meanwhile, the PPRO announced that suspects in connection with the explosion in Sabon Gari earlier this week had been arrested.
It was earlier reported that an explosion shook a building close to the Winners Chapel Academy, Aba, Court Road, Kano, killing nine people and partially leveling a building opposite the nursery school.
