Imo CP Unveils New Police Post in Oil-Producing Community

The Commissioner of Police in Imo State has commissioned a new police post in the Assa community of Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area to strengthen security in the oil-producing region.

The facility, built and donated by AGPC Ltd., is aimed at improving policing and ensuring the safety of residents and oil installations within the area.

Speaking during the inauguration, the Imo CP said the new post would enhance rapid response to security challenges and help maintain law and order in the community.

Community leaders and representatives of the company commended the initiative, noting that the presence of a police post would help curb crime and protect lives and property.

The police command reaffirmed its commitment to working with stakeholders and residents to sustain peace and security across Nigeria.
