Illness, Pregnancy Delayed My Song with Chike — Simi
Nigerian singer and songwriter Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has opened up about the reasons behind the delayed release of her new song, Where You Dey, which features fellow artiste Chike.
Speaking recently, Simi disclosed that a combination of health challenges and pregnancy slowed down the completion and release of the track. According to her, the project had been in the works for a while, but unforeseen personal circumstances made it difficult to move forward as planned.
The singer explained that dealing with illness affected her energy and studio schedule, while pregnancy further required her to step back and prioritise her wellbeing. Despite the setbacks, she noted that she remained committed to the collaboration and was determined to release the song at the right time.
