IGP visits Kebbi days after abduction of schoolgirls

The lnspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, on Tuesday, visited Kebbi State, following the abduction of schoolgirls from Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School, Maga.

The Police chief is scheduled to meet with Governor Nasir Idris and subsequently address members of the force in the state, as part of his itenary, according to Channels Television.

Egbetokun’s visit comes after a security briefing with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa on Sunday, during which the increasing incidents of abductions in Kebbi, Niger, and Kwara states were addressed.
