HAPPY TIMES FOR MAIDEN IBRU
1 min readLady Maiden Alex-Ibru, the publisher of Guardian Newspapers, and the widow of Alexander Uruemu Ibru, is happy now, and the reason is not far-fetched. Few days back, precisely on Saturday, May 21, 2016, the cerebral woman gave out her daughter, Osei Yvonne Tosan Ibru in marriage.
Tosan, who is the third daughter of Maiden Ibru to be wedded in six years, got married to Jude Anthony Edema Awam, a London based financial expert.
The fairy tale traditional marriage of Tosan and Jude was held at Landmark Centre, Water Carrington Road, Victoria Island Annex, Lagos.
The dress code for women was fuchsia pink wrapper and for the men it was gold cap on cream.
Like the two previous marriages of her two daughters, it is only the traditional marriage that will be done here in Nigeria. The white wedding will be in London on a date to be announced soon.
Unlike the two previous marriages, however, Tosan was married to a Nigerian who is based abroad.
Anita, who was the first to get married on Saturday, April 21, 2012, got married to a Ghanaian, Marcel Kouassigan.
Omotuvie Alexia Ibru, her second daughter to be married had her wedding on Saturday, March 1, 2014, to Maxwell Herbert Leile of Richmond, United Kingdom.
With her third daughter just getting married last week, Lady Maiden Ibru has her boys to contend with in terms of tying the nuptial knot.
