Guardiola To Woo Luis Suarez and Toni Kroos To Manchester City
1 min readIlkay Gundogan and Nolito have already signed for Manchester City but more business should get done as Pep Guardiola aims to reshape his squad, with Toni Kroos and Luis Suarez of particular interest to the Catalan.
Freshly arrived from Bayern Munich, Guardiola is still looking at players for next season and it seems that the duo from Barcelona and Real Madrid are now at the top of his list.
The rumour, being circulated by the Daily Mirror, claims that deals will be discussed after the European Championship ends as players will be looking to concentrate on their future.
It will not be easy to convince either player to move but playing under Guardiola would be an appealing draw.
Last term, Manchester City had an average season under Manuel Pellegrini only finishing fourth, but managed to win the League Cup and reach the Champions League semi-final.
Only Martin Demichelis has departed the club so far while Yaya Toure, who was rumoured to be on his way out, is now expected to stay.
