EPL: What Hazard Said After Scoring Twice In 2-0 Win Over West Ham
1 min readChelsea star, Eden Hazard, is optimistic that they can win the Europa League this season and also finish in the Premier League’s top four.
Hazard stated this while speaking to the media, following their 2-0 win over West Ham on Monday night.
The three points took Chelsea into third place, above London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
When asked what his side’s chances are on the continent and domestically, Hazard replied: “We are Chelsea, we can do everything.”
Maurizio Sarri’s men travel to Slavia Prague in the Europa League on Thursday, before facing Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday in the league.
Meanwhile Maurizio Sarri, has admitted he is powerless from stopping Eden Hazard’s possible move to Real Madrid.
Sarri stated this while speaking to Sky Sports, following their 2-0 win over West Ham on Monday, when Hazard netted both goals.
When asked about Hazard joining Madrid, the Italian replied: “I don’t know, I am not the club, I can’t do anything to answer. I can’t answer. [Can we lose him?] From the technical point of view, no not at the moment. There is no other Hazard because the level is so high. I hope Hazard can stay.
“The club doesn’t want to sell him but we must all respect his decision I think. He is in the last year of his contract and if he has another decision then we have to respect it. We tried but it is not easy.”
