Ekiti Gov: Bamidele Vows Landslide For Oyebanji
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has inaugurated a 57-member campaign council to coordinate the re-election bid of Governor Biodun Oyebanji ahead of the June 20 governorship election.
The inauguration ceremony was held on Monday, with party leaders and supporters gathering to formally kick off the campaign structure for the poll.
Speaking at the event, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele expressed confidence that the APC candidate, Governor Oyebanji, would secure a landslide victory in the election.
Bamidele praised the governor’s performance in office, noting that his administration’s policies and development projects had earned him widespread support across the state.
He urged members of the campaign council to work tirelessly to mobilise voters and ensure the party’s success at the polls.
The 57-member council is expected to coordinate campaign activities, grassroots mobilisation, and voter engagement across the 16 local government areas of the state.
The Ekiti governorship election is scheduled for June 20, with political parties intensifying preparations ahead of the contest.
