Easter: Ogun Gov, Senator Urge Christians to Embrace Love, Hope
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, and Senator Solomon Adeola have called on Christians to embrace the virtues of love, hope, and sacrifice as they celebrate the Easter season.
In separate Easter messages, the leaders emphasized the significance of the occasion, noting that it symbolizes renewal, selflessness, and the triumph of hope over despair.
Governor Abiodun urged citizens to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ, particularly the values of compassion, unity, and peaceful coexistence, which he said are essential for national development.
He also encouraged Nigerians to use the period to pray for the peace, progress, and stability of the country.
Similarly, Senator Adeola called on Christians to demonstrate love towards one another and extend support to the less privileged in society.
He noted that the lessons of Easter should inspire individuals to make positive contributions to their communities and promote harmony across religious and ethnic lines.
Both leaders reiterated the need for unity among Nigerians, stressing that collective effort is required to overcome the nation’s challenges.
