Defamation: Deji Adeyanju Retracts Statement, Apologises To Damagun, Anyanwu
1 min readLawyer and a right activist, Deji Adeyanju has apologised and retracted his defamatory statement against Umar Damagun, the Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, the Acting National Secretary of PDP.
It will be recalled that the duo had threatened to sue Adeyanju over allegations bordering on defamation.
Messrs Damagun and Anyanwu, through their counsel, Johnson Usman, SAN, asked Adeyanju to retract the statements and tender apology in national dailies and other social media platforms to avert the looming legal tussle.

On Friday, Adeyanju, through his lawyer, one Zainab Otega, retracted his earlier statement and apologized to the two PDP chieftains.
