The development has left many families in distress as they await clarity on the fate of their children’s academic progression. Investigations revealed that numerous public secondary schools in the state have been affected by the seizure, with the certificates of candidates withheld.

The state government had mandated parents to pay the examination fees for their wards, but it is yet to be confirmed whether a failure to remit these funds by the state government is responsible for the seizure of the results.
“The uncertainty has sparked widespread concern among parents, who now fear that their children’s academic and future prospects could be jeopardized if the issue is not swiftly resolved,” said another source.
The Ogun State Commissioner for Education and Strategy, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, was unreachable for comments.
