Buhari Condemns Yobe Terror Attack, Urges Govt to Intensify Fight Against Insurgents
1 min readFormer President Muhammadu Buhari has denounced the recent terrorist attack on Yobe State, which resulted in the loss of several lives, describing it as a ‘dreadful reminder’ that more needs to be done to combat the menace of terrorism.
In a message to Governor Mai Mala, the Yobe State Council of Chiefs, and the people of the state, Buhari expressed his condolences and prayed for the repose of those killed. He also called for a “strict response” to those who commit such “monstrous acts.”

Buhari stated, “This latest incident is a dreadful reminder that communities supported by governments have more work to do in curbing the menace of terrorists.” He prayed for peace, prosperity, and happiness in the country.
