Argentine President Invaded By Protesters

The Argentina President, Alberto Fernandez during his recent visit to a city razed by forest fires has been attacked by tons of angry protesters.
Fernandez was reported to be in a car near the city of Lago Puelo in Chubut Province in the Patagonia region when a group of people began hitting the vehicle with stones, breaking two windows.
Protesters were also seen shouting insults directed at Mariano Arcioni, the governor of Chubut province. Arcioni backs a mining project which has the president’s support, according to reports.

The President was in the area to assess damages from fires that have been burning for days at the foot of the Andes.
Media reports have it that, 2000 hectares and 250 houses have been damaged or destroyed in the blaze, with more than 200 families taken to safety from four communities in the area.
More to it were dozens of people injured and some individuals missing.
