Akpabio Calls for Exposure of Terrorism Sponsors
Senate President Godswill Akpabio has called for the exposure of individuals and groups sponsoring terrorism in Nigeria, stressing the need for collective efforts to defeat insecurity and safeguard national unity.
Akpabio urged Nigerians to remain resilient and support ongoing efforts to combat terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, and other security threats affecting various parts of the country.
According to him, identifying and bringing sponsors of terrorism to justice is crucial to weakening criminal networks and restoring lasting peace across the nation.
The Senate President also emphasized the importance of national unity, vigilance, and cooperation among citizens, security agencies, and government institutions in tackling insecurity.
He noted that beyond military operations, exposing those who finance and support terrorist activities would significantly strengthen the country’s fight against violent extremism.
Akpabio further called for prayers and sustained support for security personnel working to protect lives and property, expressing confidence that Nigeria would overcome its security challenges through collective determination and effective leadership.
His remarks come amid renewed concerns over attacks by terrorist groups and growing calls for stronger measures to address the root causes and funding sources of insecurity in the country.
