Aiyedatiwa Gets Certificate Of Return Wednesday

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that it will officially present certificates of return to Ondo State Governor-elect, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and his deputy on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

The event will take place at the INEC headquarters in Abuja.

This follows Aiyedatiwa’s victory in the November 16 governorship election, where he secured 366,781 votes, defeating his closest rival, Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who garnered 117,845 votes.

Rotimi Oyekanmi, the Chief Press Secretary to the INEC Chairman, confirmed the date of the certificate presentation to The Punch on Monday, November 18, 2024.
