AFCON 2025: Super Eagles starting X1 vs Algeria

Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has named an unchanged line-up for the quarter-final fixture against the Desert Foxes of Algeria.

Chippa United’s Stanley Nwabali will retain his position in goal.

Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, and Bruno Onyemaechi will occupy the defence.

Captain Wilfred Ndidi will lead the midfield along with Frank Onyeka and Alex Iwobi.

Victor Osimhen as expected will lead the attack, with Ademola Lookman and Akor Adams as support strikers.
