Adamawa releases timetable for civil service recruitment exam

The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission is set to conduct a Computer-Based Test, CBT, for applicants screened for the final evaluation to fill vacancies in the state workforce.

 

The examination is scheduled to commence on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 13 selected JAMB centres across the state.

 

A notice to this effect said successful candidates will receive notification slips via email and SMS from July 25, containing a link to print their examination slips.

 

According to the public notice, “the slips will include details such as examination center, date, time, and other relevant information.”

 

The CBT notice, issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Adamawa State Civil Service Commission, Abubakar Maiha, assured all candidates of a free and fair recruitment process.

 

Details of the CBT examination released on Thursday evening by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, indicated that the examination would run until August 9 across the various centres.

 

Candidates from Yola North, Yola South, Fufore and Girei LGAs are to take the test in four centres in Yola between July 31 and August 1; candidates from Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha, Michika and Madagali LGAs will write in three centres in Mubi Town on August 4 and 5; Hong and Gombi candidates in a Hong centre on August 4 and 5; and Numan, Shelleng, Lamurde and Guyuk candidates in two centres in Numan on August 7 and 8.

 

August 7 and 8 is also scheduled for candidates in Mayo-Belwa LGA, who will write in Mayo-Belwa Town, while Jada candidates will sit for the test in Jada Town on August 8. Ganye and Toungo candidates will also take the CBT in Yola on August 7 and 8.

 

August 9, 2025 has been set aside in Yola “for all absentees from any local government area.”
