KEBBI WARNS CIVIL SERVANTS AGAINST LATENESS, ABSENTEEISM

The Kebbi State Government has warned civil servants against lateness and absenteeism, directing workers to strictly observe the official working hours.
The government said civil servants are expected to report for duty by 8am and remain at their duty posts until 4pm, except where official duties require otherwise.
The warning is aimed at improving punctuality, discipline and productivity across the state civil service.
Government officials are expected to monitor attendance and ensure that workers comply with the stipulated working hours.
The state government stressed that regular attendance and commitment to duty are important for efficient delivery of public services to residents.
Civil servants have therefore been urged to take the directive seriously and avoid actions that could disrupt government operations or attract disciplinary measures.
