Communications Minister Urges Telcos to Fix Persistent Network Challenges
Nigeria’s Minister of Communications has called on telecommunications operators to urgently address persistent network and service disruptions affecting subscribers across the country.
The minister said the Federal Government has introduced reforms and policies aimed at creating a stable business environment for telecom companies to improve service delivery.
He stressed the need for operators to strengthen infrastructure, improve connectivity, and ensure reliable communication services for Nigerians.
The minister also noted that the telecom sector remains critical to economic growth, digital innovation, and national development, urging stakeholders to work together to tackle ongoing challenges.
Industry observers say complaints over poor network quality, dropped calls, and unstable internet services have continued to rise in recent months.
