Edo LG Poll: Deputy Governor Calls for APC Unity, Unveils LG Flagbearer
Edo State Deputy Governor has called for unity among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the forthcoming local government elections in the state.
The deputy governor made the call during a party gathering where Osarobo Anthony was officially unveiled as the APC flagbearer for Ovia South-West Local Government Area.
He stressed the importance of party cohesion, noting that unity among members would be critical to securing victory at the polls. According to him, internal divisions could weaken the party’s chances, while a united front would strengthen its position across the state.
The deputy governor urged party faithful to put aside personal differences and work collectively towards ensuring the success of all APC candidates in the election.
Speaking at the event, Osarobo Anthony expressed gratitude to party leaders and members for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to deliver effective grassroots governance if elected.
He assured supporters that his administration would focus on development, improved service delivery, and the welfare of residents in Ovia South-West Local Government.
