Fixing Abia Is My Priority, Not 2027 Elections — Otti

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has declared that his administration is focused on rebuilding the state and improving the lives of its people, stressing that discussions about the 2027 general elections will not distract him from governance.

Otti stated that his priority is to fix Abia’s infrastructure, economy, and public institutions, noting that residents elected him to deliver tangible development, not to engage in early political campaigns. According to the governor, his government is committed to road construction, urban renewal, healthcare improvement, education reform, and restoring confidence in public service.

He emphasized that his administration is driven by performance and accountability, adding that the results of good governance will speak louder than political rhetoric. Otti also urged politicians and supporters to remain focused on supporting development efforts rather than speculating about future elections.

The governor reassured Abians that his government will continue to deploy resources prudently, tackle long-standing infrastructural decay, and create an enabling environment for investment and job creation.

Otti maintained that when the time comes, the people will judge his administration based on its achievements, insisting that fixing Abia remains his sole priority.
